REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS/SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position reports to the Department Supervisor/Manager and has no direct reports.

 

POSITION SUMMARY

Performs cardiac imaging and other non-invasive cardiology procedures as performed by the department.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Performs cardiac sonographic imaging and all necessary functions required to complete procedure for interpretation. Interacts with providers as necessary for completion of the procedure and to answer questions concerning the performance of the procedure. Performs cardiac stress testing on patients with complete knowledge of different stress protocols and the computerized capabilities of the equipment used to perform the test. Applies and processes holter/event monitors. Knowledge of how to correctly set up and document test. Performs quality assurance data collection and analysis. Serves as a resource for cardiac sonography for other technologists and office/hospital staff. Able to navigate and document in Electronic Medical Record. Weekend rotation in Echo lab at Toledo hospital and additional offsite coverage as needed. Performs other duties as directed.
