Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
About the Role: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in a residential setting. As an RBT, you will implement behavioral interventions and assist Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) in delivering effective treatment plans focused on behavior reduction and skill acquisition. You will work closely with clients and team members, assisting with daily activities, monitoring behavior, collecting data, and maintaining clear and professional communication to ensure the best outcomes for the individuals we serve. Key Responsibilities: + Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans under BCBA guidance. + Accurately complete clinical and program-related documentation daily. + Assist with development and review of data collection tools to ensure accuracy and efficiency. + Identify behavior-environment relationships and support appropriate interventions. + Monitor behavior plans and assist with treatment integrity. + Collaborate with treatment team members including clinicians, shift leaders, and residential staff. + Participate actively in 1:1 and group supervisions, sharing insights and progress. + Maintain clear, professional communication with supervisors and peers. + Manage aggressive behavior using approved de-escalation and physical management techniques. + Support training efforts for staff on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions. + Adhere to the RBT Code of Ethics and maintain all required certifications. Qualifications: + High School Diploma or GED required. + Minimum 2 years experience in Health and Human Services preferred. + Basic computer proficiency. + Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strongly preferred. + Valid driver’s license required. + Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges preferred.
