Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Are you a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with a passion for helping students achieve their full potential? Cross Country Education invites you to bring your expertise to a supportive educational environment in Bridgeport, CT for the '25 to '26 school year.

Position Overview:  Provide direct, individualized behavioral support to K-12 students with diverse needs, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Collect and record data on student progress and behaviors, collaborating with staff and families to ensure consistent support across school and home environments. Experience working with children or adolescents in a K-12 educational setting is preferred, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications: 

Registered Behavior Technician/Paraprofessional Certification Completed or the ability to complete a 40-Hour training specifically training designed for RBTs Ability to pass a practical assessment conducted by a qualified supervisor to demonstrate skills Ability to pass a criminal background check and abuse registry check
