Responsibilities The Regional Vice President (RVP) of Operations, Powerback Respiratory will serve as a senior leader responsible for the strategic, clinical, and operational oversight of all respiratory programs and services across the organization. This role combines high-level clinical expertise with healthcare operations leadership to ensure excellence in patient outcomes, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and growth of respiratory health initiatives. The RVP will work closely with clinical teams, administrative leadership, and external partners to drive innovation and deliver high-quality care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES: Strategic and Operational Leadership: Develops and implements strategic plans for the growth and delivery of respiratory services. Oversees day-to-day operations of respiratory therapy, pulmonary rehabilitation, home respiratory programs, and other service lines. Ensures efficient use of resources, adherence to budgets, and achievement of operational targets. Identifies and implements best practices and operational efficiencies across all service locations. Delivers exceptional customer service through clear communication and upholds quality care by implementing clinical best practices across all service sites. Works to develop strategy that consistently identifies opportunities for improvement in clinical practice, advocacy, customer service and compliance. Clinical Oversight and Quality Assurance: Influences the clinical practice of the organization through the ability to motivate others, positive role modeling, and providing leadership to achieve company goals. Ensures all clinical programs meet or exceed standards for patient care, safety, and regulatory compliance. Guides clinical protocols and is a clinical resource and content expert respective to identified specialty practice areas. Champions continuous improvement and clinical innovation initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery. Oversees credentialing, licensure, and continuing education requirements for clinical respiratory staff. Provides patient care with the intent to model effective assessment and treatment, manages a difficult case or population, facilitates clinical reasoning of clinicians, and in emergency situations to address an unmet patient need. Acts as a clinical resource and content expert in the development of clinical education and initiatives; in the following, but not limited to areas-- interpretation and application of clinical outcomes, clinical operations systems and processes, care delivery model design and implementation. Acts as a clinical resource and expert on discipline-specific standards of practice, codes of ethics, and practice acts which may include clinical specialization, advanced clinical teaching and training, mentoring and professional association representation. Regulatory and Compliance: Researches information regarding regulations, reimbursement and practice/licensure throughout Powerback Rehabilitation. Facilitates education for District Managers, Program Managers, and CDs. Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS, The Joint Commission, and state health departments. Prepares for and leads accreditation and certification processes for respiratory programs. Collaborates with the Regulatory department to provide expertise in regulatory and reimbursement issues. Ensures completion of documentation audits, QI/QA and case management reviews in programs, and districts to identify specific clinical trends and areas of opportunity in the provision of value-based healthcare services. Provides direction and resources to the leadership team with specific clinical areas of a QI/QA plan to effectively mitigate risk. Participates in collaborative clinical quality improvement initiatives with internal and external customers as directed by the Sr Vice President of Operations in order to drive clinical care delivery to the Powerback Rehabilitation standard (e.g., Peer Survey Teams, mock surveys, etc.). Qualifications Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), or a clinical field (e.g., Respiratory Therapy, Nursing, Public Health). Clinical degree or certification in Respiratory Therapy (e.g., RRT) required. Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, with at least 3 years in respiratory or pulmonary services. Proven success managing both clinical teams and operational workflows. Strong background in healthcare finance, regulatory compliance, and clinical quality improvement. Posted Salary Range USD $130,000.00 - USD $140,000.00 /Yr.
