ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. + Responsible for nursing care delivery for assigned client locations. + Timely and accurately assess, plan, and deliver nursing care to patients. + Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and other tasks, as ordered by the practitioner. + Provide emergency first aid care when appropriate. + Check and record vital signs, peak flows, blood glucose checks, weight, and other diagnostic tests on-site, when appropriate. + Triage officer intake screenings for necessity and priority at sick call. + Record information in chronic clinic and report reactions to treatments and medications, as well as changes in the patients’ emotional or physical condition. + Record care information concisely, accurately, and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms. + Coordinate medical services as directed by the practitioner and provide patient education to support care. + Maintain aseptic techniques and infection control precautions, as required. + Maintain and demonstrate working knowledge of pharmacology, including drug reaction/overdose. + Maintain and demonstrate working knowledge of therapeutic diets and nutrition. + Notify supervisor of medical or security incidents. + Attend in-service education sessions as requested by the client. + Perform duties within the scope of practice mandated by state and local standards. + Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA practices as required by government agencies. + Acquire professional licensure as directed. + May be asked to train new hires and coworkers. + Proficient in using and maintaining patient electronic healthcare records and learning AIMM electronic Medical Records (EMR). + Acquire and maintain professional nursing licensure. + Remain available for staffing coverage needs including nights, weekends, and holidays. + Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: + Registered Nursing License and associate's degree required. + Must be licensed and/or willing to obtain licensure in the state(s) where practice occurs. + 1+ year(s) of nursing experience required. + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; hands-on training required. + Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
