**What You Can Expect**
The Lead Trainer plays a crucial role in the future success of the US Sales Organization by enhancing the sales of Zimmer Biomet's Upper Extremities, Sports Medicine, and Technology Data Solutions (TDS) products. This position requires a dynamic and supportive individual who collaborates with internal subject matter experts and learning professionals to develop the Sales Training curriculum and conduct internal training sessions. The Trainer brings a wealth of orthopedic sales knowledge and experience to the role, ensuring that the sales team is well-equipped with the essential tools needed to effectively promote and sell Zimmer Biomet's products.
**How You'll Create Impact**
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for Zete Performance for each assigned territory. Providing impeccable customer service, responsiveness, and support.
+ Coordinate territory and regional training classes, webinars, and workshops, partnering with subject matter experts as necessary.
+ Partner with crucial territory personnel and team leads to produce an onboarding plan for each new hire.
+ Assess learner knowledge and skill acquisition utilizing a variety of quantitative and qualitative methodologies such as pre-and post-tests, skill demonstrations, case presentations, role plays, and surveys. Provide constructive feedback and coaching to learners based on outputs.
+ Ensure program application and facilitation is within budget by optimizing the use of resources. Leveraging technology and innovation while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
+ Consult with interdepartmental teams, including Instructional Designers, remain current in adult learning practices. Ensure each program’s value is measured and aligned to key performance indicators, such as satisfaction, sales growth, utilization, etc.
+ Serve as a subject matter expert for Upper Extremities, Sports Medicine, and TDS products, facilitating trainings that cover anatomy and pathology, product features and benefits, surgical techniques, clinical outcomes, and more.
+ Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Sales leaders, Downstream Marketing, Product Managers, and Global Learning & Development) to understand and address the needs of the ZB Sales Team to develop comprehensive training programs that address known gaps and align with the Company’s strategic vision.

**What Makes You Stand Out**
+ Advanced communication and facilitation skills with the ability to present complex information in a clean and engaging manner (written and verbal).
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams and 365 (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Work).
+ Measure the impact of training through data analysis and evaluation.
+ Proven budget management experience to deliver on department goals given constraints.
+ Passionate about equipping others to be successful.
+ Innate problem solver, self-starter, and highly organized.
+ Strong working knowledge of the orthopedic markets of Upper Extremities and Sports Medicine.
**Your Background**
+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution required; Master’s degree preferred in business, marketing, communications or other relevant field.
+ 7-10 years of successful sales experience in Upper Extremities and Sports Medicine.
+ 5+ years of facilitation skills, preferably in the medical device industry.
**Travel Expectations**
+ Up to 30%
This is a fully remote opportunity with an annual salary of $110,000-150,000 per year with additional earnings through bonus opportunity.
