Hendrick Automotive Group, the largest privately owned dealership group in America, is looking to add to our amazing recruiting team. This role supports our high-volume dealerships in the bustling Kansas-City market along with our Dallas and Austin markets.

This role is tasked with successfully meeting the staffing needs in our Sales, Service, Guest Services and all related departments to make our dealerships thrive. The ideal candidate has at least 4-5 years of experience in the recruiting field, specifically in meeting the unique challenges of the automotive market. Experience with large dealership groups is preferred. This position will be based in the KC-metro market and requires regular onsite visits to our locations to ensure the high level of partnership with our stakeholders and to execute onsite recruiting events. Documented experience in successfully exceeding established recruitment goals is a must.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Manage full cycle recruiting efforts including talent sourcing, candidate evaluation and screening, interview process, and scheduling hiring manager interviews.Proactively build pipeline of quality candidates to help address immediate needs and support regional growthCollaborate with hiring managers on effective recruiting practices to ensure an exceptional experience for all candidatesParticipate in recruiting events to help address regional staffing needsDevelop and build external relationships with regional employment associationsWork on project based recruiting to help support new dealerships and acquisitions within regionRoutinely communicate with candidates and hiring managers to ensure a time effective recruitment processUtilize multiple candidate sourcing methods including Applicant Tracking software to effectively source, screen and facilitate pre-hire processCommunicate with Regional HR Coordinator to help facilitate hiring and on-boarding process

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university or 4-5 years high volume recruiting experience required Experience recruiting for sales and retail positionsExperience with utilizing applicant tracking softwareStrong record of positive Customer Service resultsProfessional appearance and strong communication skillsTeam orientedSubmit to and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug testValid driver's license with good driving record
