**Regional Supplier Program Manager – APAC Data Centers**
You will be joining Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation team, where data centers power the cloud services that fuel modern business and innovation. In this role, you will help Microsoft stay ahead of risk by proactively supporting supplier readiness and contract execution across the Asia-Pacific region. In this role, you will partner with, operations, site teams, procurement category, business operations, legal, and other stakeholders to drive supplier engagement, resolve supplier operational issues, and ensure real-world execution of supplier contract commitments. You will lead efforts to manage supplier performance across one of Microsoft’s most dynamic and diverse regions - improving outcomes at scale while acting as a critical connector across teams. As a Regional Supplier Program Manager for APAC, you will play a central role in ensuring operational excellence across Microsoft’s data center supplier ecosystem. This opportunity will allow you to deepen your expertise in mission-critical infrastructure, expand your experience working across data center site operations, critical environment suppliers, procurement, legal, and operations functions, and shape scalable engagement strategies in one of Microsoft’s most complex regions. + **Resolve supplier escalations with urgency:** Partner with site operations teams, suppliers, category managers, Regional Business Operations, Critical Environment Program Managers, and legal (CELA) to investigate and close supplier escalations raised by APAC sites, ensuring continuity of operations and timely root cause resolution.
+ **Lead supplier performance management and engagement cadence:** Define and manage a structured rhythm of business (RoB) for supplier performance across APAC, including regular reviews, escalation follow-ups, and proactive improvement dialogues tailored to supplier tiering and regional maturity.
+ **Support contract execution and post-IST operationalization:** Partner with category owners, site stakeholders, and suppliers to socialize contracts, clarify SLAs and escalation paths, and enable smooth execution following site Integrated Systems Testing (IST) dates.
+ **Drive contract review and feedback loops:** Collaborate with Legal, category managers, and site teams to evaluate contract terms in the field, close interpretational gaps, and ensure alignment between contractual intent and site-level needs.
+ **Coordinate across global and regional time zones:** Engage with globally distributed teams and stakeholders across U.S., EMEA, and APAC, maintaining alignment and responsiveness across varied working hours and support models.
+ **Adapt engagement strategies to diverse regional dynamics:** Customize communication styles and escalation approaches based on cultural norms, supplier maturity, and local operating models across APAC countries.
+ **Institutionalize supplier management processes:** Contribute to the development and rollout of tools and frameworks for supplier scorecards, escalation intake, contract onboarding, and issue tracking.
+ **Lead cross-functional collaboration and program delivery:** Drive stakeholder coordination across internal and external teams to execute high-priority supplier initiatives, while contributing to the design and rollout of change management and communications plans.
+ **Support strategy execution and performance tracking:** Participate in team-wide priority setting, metric definition, and governance rhythms to ensure clarity, accountability, and transparency across the APAC supplier management program.
**Qualifications**
**Required/Minimum Qualifications (RQs/MQs)**
+ **Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 6+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement OR equivalent experience**
+ **Fluency in verbal and written English communication:** Able to communicate clearly across APAC and global stakeholders, including verbal briefings, email updates, and written documentation that supports supplier engagement, contract alignment, and escalation tracking.
+ **Experience collaborating across technical and non-technical teams:** Demonstrated ability to translate complex supplier or contract issues into clear next steps, align cross-functional teams, and coordinate resolution across site, legal, and procurement stakeholders.
+ **Track record of delivering operational programs or supplier-facing initiatives:** Has led or contributed to structured programs such as supplier onboarding, contract walkthroughs, performance reviews, or escalation management efforts.
**Additional or Preferred Qualifications (PQs)**
+ **Data center operations experience preferred:** Direct engagement with operational stakeholders in live or newly commissioned data center environments. Familiarity with site procedures and supplier interactions in APAC is strongly preferred.
+ **Working knowledge of critical infrastructure systems:** Understanding of how suppliers support power, mechanical, and monitoring systems such as UPS, generators, chillers, switchgear, BAS, and EPMS within a data center environment.
+ **Cross-functional program leadership in APAC:** Experience leading initiatives involving legal, site operations, regional business operations, and supply chain teams to solve region-specific challenges.
+ **Hands-on experience with supplier governance frameworks:** Exposure to supplier scorecards, escalation intake processes, contract operationalization frameworks, or field-level supplier performance reviews.
