Regional Software Sales Manager
**What you’ll do:** The Eaton APAC East Asia team is accelerating the advancement of its software platform and scaling plans to implement software solutions for customers worldwide. Our software technology is to manage, monitor, and control devices, focusing on data centers, campuses, and retail locations. As a Regional Software Sales Manager, you will represent Eaton's software solutions in your designated region, establish a market presence, foster relationships with internal teams and channel partners, and manage software sales opportunities from identification to close. This role offers the opportunity to build and lead the software team and strategy for the region. + Identify and establish market and industry relationships to drive Eaton software solutions in the region. + Collaborate with Eaton sales and account management teams to find and manage software sales opportunities. + Lead software discussions with customers from technical users to the C-suite. + Build and manage the commercial Digitalization segment team in APAC. + Develop relationships with channel partners, providing technical and sales training to enable the partner ecosystem. + Conduct software webinars, training, and demo sessions to educate market or customer audiences. + Assist prospective customers with architecture and integration details as part of pre-sales efforts. + Manage and track pipeline activity in sales CRM software to maximize market share. + Create, develop, and execute segment business and marketing plans. + Promote upsell opportunities to existing clients for licenses and services. + Maintain good working relationships with end customers to ensure annual renewals of subscription licenses and support agreements. + Contribute to the creation of technical and sales collateral for software marketing. + Provide competitive market analysis and intelligence. + Advise on product features and requirements to exceed market offerings from competitors. + Understand complementary hardware solutions included in solution sales opportunities. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience. + 5+ years of experience in technical software sales roles, with consultative, software solution selling experience. + Experience developing and translating business use cases to solution requirements and architecture documentation. + Proficiency with Linux (CentOS/Red Hat) command line. **Desired:** + Expertise in infrastructure monitoring software and related hardware components. + Established presence in the region with channel contacts. + Understanding of standard enterprise networking infrastructure concepts. + Experience with SCADA, BMS, or EPMS software solutions. + Industry certifications or participation in vendor software and DCIM courses. + Confident public speaking abilities for presenting at events.
