GENERAL PURPOSE

The MillerKnoll Regional Senior Security Manager, located on-site within a MillerKnoll Mexico facility, will utilize Global Security programs and policies to develop then implement effective LAC security strategies and policies, oversee incident and crisis management activities, provide security-related counsel, and complete investigative and security assignments across all MillerKnoll Security functions for Latin and South America.  The MillerKnoll Regional Senior Security Manager LAC reports to the MillerKnoll Director of Global Security.  The MillerKnoll Regional Senior Security Manager LAC will oversee all contract security services and security staff at all LAC MK properties. As the leader for security services, they must possess above average confidentiality, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Develop the MillerKnoll Security Strategy for Latin America.Leads the daily security operational plan for all MillerKnoll Facilities in LAC.Focused on development and execution of short-to mid-term operational plans for LAC along with Global Security.Develop new processes, and standards for LAC in support of the Global Security team.Maintain composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.Regular computer usage.Travel could be as high as 40% of the time, so a willingness to travel and visit all LAC Facilities is critical.Outlines and administers LAC security budget program and initiatives.Oversee contract security staff and security system integrators working on MillerKnoll Facilities in LAC.Outlines expectations of contract staff and works with local contract management team to ensure proper training and execution of duties are met.Communicates and coordinates the day-to-day LAC security operation closely with the MillerKnoll Global Security Operations (GSOC) facility.Follows up on daily security related items and works with various members of the Global Security Team to resolve.Monitors MillerKnoll locations for weather, events, and potential threats.  Works with the site management during these situations to ensure necessary support and communications are met.Work closely with MK Technical team for the deployment of Card Access, Intruder alarm, and CCTV projectsMonitors security systems at MillerKnoll locations and works with the MillerKnoll Physical Security Systems Team for reporting anomalies, etc.Assists MillerKnoll with internal investigations of problems such as employee theft and violations of corporate or retail security procedures.Completes audits at MillerKnoll Facilities on a regular basis.  Compiles detailed written reporting around audit visit findings.Identifies and recommends solutions for process improvement or cost containment.Performs additional requirements as situations dictate in support of achieving business objectives.

Education/Experience

Degree in Criminal Justice or related field; or equivalent education and experience. Five to seven years or more of leadership experience in, security or law enforcement required.Multinational corporate role or experience preferred.

Must speak English.Portugues language desired.Must be detail oriented.Strong customer service skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong decision and problem-solving skillsSystemic thinking along with strong computer and software skills required.Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously in time critical situations.Demonstrated ability to take initiative, respond to changing priorities and accomplish the goals.Demonstrated ability to control budget.Knowledge of retail operations and loss prevention strategies and procedures.Possess knowledge or background with security technologies.Business literacy, including an excellent understanding of corporate facilities, assets, and people.High level of integrity, respect, and trust.Must be capable of presenting a professional demeanor and appearance in all manner of situations and conditions.Valid driver's license, good driving record and a reliable means of transportation is required.Valid PassportMust be in good physical condition and be able to perform essential functions of the job.Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without accommodations.
