Regional Sales & Marketing Manager – Industrial Lubricants
Job Description:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales & Marketing Manager to lead our industrial lubricants business across a multi-state region in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing a team of area-level professionals, and expanding the customer base through strategic planning and strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:Drive sales of high-performance lubricants (metalworking fluids, corrosion preventives, oils, and greases) through planned customer visits.
Provide technical support and coordinate successful product trials at customer sites.
Analyze and manage competitive information—pricing, market share, credit terms, and sales volume.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely order processing and delivery.
Manage regional sales budgets and forecasts; track variances and implement corrective actions.
Maintain up-to-date records and ensure all documentation complies with company and statutory requirements.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and identify new business opportunities.
Interact with government bodies for product-specific approvals.
Recruit, train, and manage a sales team including Area Managers and Executives.
Continuously upgrade knowledge by attending training and engaging with industry resources.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
MBA/PGDBM in Marketing (preferred).
Minimum 12 years of relevant sales experience in industrial products, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams across regions.
Proficient in English, Hindi, and the local language of the assigned region.
Skilled in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with SAP or similar platforms is an advantage.
Willing to travel extensively across the assigned geographic region.
