The Global Filter Regional Sales Manager will report to the Director of Sales and will be based in our Northeast Region. The Regional Sales Manager position is critical to our business both in terms of long-term success and day to day operations. This individual is responsible for account maintenance and growth within their geographic territory.  This growth is to come from the addition of new accounts as well as further development of existing customers. 

 

The expectation is that this individual will have an exceptional attitude, customer-first mentality, willingness to study and learn the products and accounts, develop, and employ strategy, and possess the motivation required to enable success. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated quick learner, highly organized and focused, with sufficient technical inclination and a strong bias for action. The candidate will possess a customer-centric mindset, strong communication skills, analytical skills, & the technical knowledge to adapt to customers’ needs through problem solving. We are looking for someone who is tenacious at heart and enjoys the challenge of building new relationships and helping customers quickly and effectively solve problems. The Regional Sales Manager must also effectively collaborate with all levels of the organization and be comfortable presenting and utilizing video and/or phone conferencing tools.

Responsibilities Geographic Coverage: Northwest RegionMaryland, Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, and MaineHunt for new customers and new business using all tools availablePresent and sell Global Filter products & services to potential customersPrepare action plans and schedules to identify specific customer targets for incremental business growthMaintain accuracy of project data and pipeline information in CRMCreate and manipulate large data sets then apply rigorous analysis and critical thinking that drives insight, informing commercial actionPrepare presentations and proposals Establish and maintain current client and potential customer relationships Identify and resolve customer concernsAchieve/exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goalsOther duties and responsibilities as assigned

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for responding to questions in a timely mannerProficient at influencing others while demonstrating a confident and positive attitudeMust possess strong problem-solving skills to lead resolution efforts focused on creating an exceptional quality and satisfaction for our customersStrong negotiation skills and tactics are critical and essentialAbility to work independently as a self-starter, take initiative to provide solutions in the absence of perfect dataMust be able to adapt and work effectively with a variety of changing situationsPossess excellent organizational skills with very effective attention to detailRobust time management skills are essentialSkilled at working within deadlines and prioritizing multiple initiatives with minimal supervision to meet changing business needsDemonstrated organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skillsMust be able to maintain confidentialityMust be committed to expanding product knowledge and utilizing all available resources while striving for continuous improvement, both professionally and for business successProficiency in use of Microsoft Office; specifically, Outlook, Excel and WordWorking knowledge of teleconference tools Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field is preferred; or in absence of degree, four (4) years of related experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or technical sales role is preferredFive (5) years of operations experience in a high-volume production manufacturing environment is preferredIdeal candidate will be a demonstrated business development expert with a proven ability to grow a region or territory through new business development, working collaboratively with all functional support areasAbility to read and understand engineering drawings & specifications is preferredProcess filtration experience strongly preferred, with a focus on high purity pleated depth and membrane cartridge sales to food & beverage, microelectronics, cosmetics/customer care, pharmaceuticals, animal health, and high purity chemicalsProficient with Microsoft Office products and CRM software is required; proficiency with SalesForce is preferred, but not requiredWillingness to work side-by-side with all levels of the team

Travel

This role may require up to 60% travel to visit customers, end users, collaborate with team members, and participate in trade shows
