Regional Sales Manager - North Central US
JOB SUMMARY The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for the North Central US territory is a remote outside sales position on the Morning Pride sales team. The RSM will be responsible for the territory including Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The candidate will be responsible for working with distribution and end users in the sales territory to showcase and educate customers on product portfolio to increase market share in the territory. Responsibilities are not limited to but include: Performing new product demonstrations on a weekly basis for end users. Writing specifications (specs) for fire departments, either separately or in partnership with a distributor. Providing insight and a resource for contracts going through a bid process in area. Sizing fire fighters as needed with premanufactured sizing sets and/or tape measure. Providing expertise and a resource for distribution and end users to move business forward in timely manner. CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS The RSM role requires a highly self-motivated person who is looking to consistently expand market share and grow the territory. The role requires public speaking/presenting, in front of customers as needed. Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word proficiencies. Sales Force or other CRM experience a plus. Overall high level of skill in multitasking, critical problem solving, timely response to customer requests, and flexibility in scheduling time with customers and distribution.
