Job Summary
In this role, you will strategically advance sales growth for Motion High Power (MOHP) within your designated regional market. You will shape and continuously elevate the development and execution of a dynamic sales strategy, ensuring robust order generation, market expansion, and profitability. As a key leader, you will oversee regional sales performance, deliberately identify growth opportunities, and implement corrective actions to maximize business revenue while collaborating with local division managers and their teams to promote a culture of innovation.
This role directly contributes to ABB’s market expansion and leadership by establishing strong market presence for MOHP. By executing a targeted, evolving sales strategy, you will support ambitious growth objectives across various business lines, maximize revenue, and solidify ABB’s competitive positioning and customer engagement. Your strategic risk mitigation and performance optimization efforts are crucial to securing sustainable business growth and profitability.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Developing and implementing comprehensive regional sales and commercial strategies that drive order revenue, gross margins, and sales cost management while aligning with local business plans and division objectives.Monitoring and improving sales performance by overseeing pipelines, order backlogs, forecasting, and executing corrective actions to capture growth opportunities and market share.Overseeing and aligning the LSU budget processes and financial targets, ensuring synergy between local units and division business line strategies for sustainable profitability. • Leading and coaching local sales teams and division managers to build high-performing groups, establish clear sales objectives, and leverage incentive plans for tangible results.Facilitating and coordinating comprehensive sales reviews, market intelligence gathering, and proactive reporting on competitor actions and new market developments.What We Expect
You hold a Master’s degree in a relevant Business field and bring at least 10 years of Sales leadership experience within a large global or regional business environment.You possess business and commercial acumen, with a extensive industrial market experience, applying a customer-centric approach to enable outside-in thinking and acting.You demonstrate expertise in sales processes and tools, with the courage and curiosity to explore new possibilities to drive continuous improvement.You have a history of executing strategies successfully, delivering growth and profitability in an international environment.You bring pricing experience, with M&A knowledge considered an asset.You are fluent in English, with additional languages.You are recognized as a great team player, appreciated for your collaboration, communication, business partnering, and leadership skills.Our Commitment
