Regional Sales Manager / Assistant Manager

**Job Summary**
This position will be the Regional Sales Manager for the territories in South East Asia, focusing on Singapore. You will have a direct responsibility for Territory Sales Targets, building and managing a strong opportunity funnel to deliver these targets, and reporting responsibilities. You will work with the team to implement and drive product & sales strategies across the channel network and collaborate with Sales team to drive preference for EMERSON Actuators.
The ideal candidate is a customer focused person with sales and business development proficiencies. You should have a demonstrated knowledge of Valve Automation / Actuation technologies or related industries and a solid understanding of the different customers from EPCs, OEMs, competition and Industry insights as well.
**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Set Yearly and Monthly Financial Goal for Distribution Channels or Valve OEMs and help them exceed those goals. Track and Report Monthly Performance.
+ Identify White Space in assigned Territories and then develop channel plan to capture White Space opportunity
+ Collaborate with Regional Sales & Project Pursuit leaders to identify and win projects
+ Work closely with the product marketing team on new market developments and product updates.
+ Become an expert on the Products and Territories Represented
+ Provide sales and product training for the Distribution channels, End Users, EPCs to drive preference
+ Provide technical support to internal sales teams as well as customers by reviewing applications and specifying appropriate actuators
+ Develop, Record and Present insights on the Asia Pacific Actuation market to regional and global management including but not limited to competitors, pricing, product gaps etc.
+ Has full ownership of Measuring, Tracking & Reporting progress for overall business for territories/countries managed

**For This Role, You Will Need:**
+ Minimum 8 years of sales experience in Valve Actuation or instrumentation and control systems or related industry.
+ Ability to analyze complex situations and ability to define and clearly articulate a plan of action **.**
+ A proficiency in solution-based selling (not price negotiation only) is a must
+ Good verbal and written communication skills in English
**Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any equivalent experience
+ Knowledge in Mandarin will be an added advantage to liaise with Chinese-speaking customers
