Regional Sales Manager

As a Regional Sales Manager at Terex/Genie, based in Singapore, you'll play a pivotal role in driving growth across the region and developing, implementing and monitoring sales forecasts and targets, identifying new business opportunities and establishing strong long term customer relationships.

What you’ll do

Achieve sales targets by managing and motivating the dealer network in the region.Develop new sales leads and service existing customers within assigned territory and region.Establish sales forecasts for customers within your regionContinue to build positive working relationships with targeted customer base including conducting regular visits to existing and new customers.Manage discount levels and strive to improve the company’s margins.Assist with the development and delivery of marketing campaigns into the market.Ongoing research of local market and business activity and identify opportunities.Educate Genie customers on the Genie aftermarket value proposition.Coordinate sales efforts with other Genie functions such as sales, engineering and finance.Responsible for used equipment sales and sourcing of used equipment in the region.Assist the external sales team with transactional support to efficiently quote and transact trade packages with a high level of accuracy.Provide expertise to the service centers on used equipment processes; value added activities and allowable time to process equipment.Streamline of service centers and equip them with the appropriate level of training, documentation and parts to be efficient and successful.Manage used equipment inventory and develop strategies to turn the inventory quickly.Measure the outgoing transactional quality and customer satisfaction.Interact with senior leaders to collaborate on used equipment sales strategies.Develop technology-based tools for dealing with used equipment.Drive a business with key metrics which will be profitable with a balance of operating profit and trade in advances made with the key customer base.Manage all inventory for used equipment in the region.


What you’ll bring

A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or equivalent required.Minimum of 5 years of experience with equipment and/or the aerial industry.  Able to offer informed perspective on the market and strategies required to achieve goals.Able to understand and work with the operational side of the used equipment business.Good people skills required to create, nurture and maintain relationships in the market with our current sales / dealer network and new legacy customers.Able to penetrate new markets and navigate the issues, importation and logistic challenges involved.Thorough understanding of the business unit structure, products and aerial industry.Need to have clear understanding of Business Acumen.Need to be a pro-active individualTechnical familiarity with our equipment and how values are determined.Previous sales experience in commercial or industrial sales (construction industry experience a plus)Previous experience in the Aerial Work Platform industry will be highly regarded
