Summary:  

Thales Japan Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for introducing the entire Thales Cyber Security Portfolio (Data Security solution, Application Security solution, Identity and Management solution).
The main role for this position is to expand Thales’s data security solution portfolio (Data Access Monitoring, File Access Monitoring, Encryption, Key Management, and other related solutions) to Thales strategic accounts which are consisted of Financial and Telecommunication companies.

Skilled new business development sales manager who is responsible for any industries which handle high confidential data and private data. The high touch sales and hunter type of sales attitude are required.

Expected to deliver consistent revenue performance and growth according to assigned quarterly sales quota. Primary responsibility is to expand Thales’s data security solution portfolio (Encryption, Key Management, and other related solutions).

Qualification Requirements:

Education:  Bachelor's degree required

Experience: 

Experience in direct sales to new customers.

Ability to identify and engage stakeholders within key accounts.

Open doors and build relationships with key accounts by leveraging leads generated through marketing events or tools.

Manage relationships with senior management, serving as a trusted partner.

Experience working closely with major system integrators such as NEC, Hitachi, Fujitsu, and NRI is preferred.

Experience working closely with major cloud vendors such as AWS, Microsoft, Google, and Oracle is preferred.

Experience working closely with major cloud consulting firms such as Accenture, Deloitte, and PwC is preferred.

Skills:

Strong and hunter type of direct sales skills to penetrate the targeted accounts.

The data security knowledge

Due to the nature of the work, native Japanese and business-level English language capabilities are essential.

Strong communication/presentation skills with the ability to engage with all levels (working level to senior management level).

Understanding of decision-making process, operational model, overall business strategies, commercial flows etc. for the targeted customers.

Business planning skills and proven ability to execute and deliver on a defined plan,

Ability to thrive under pressure and to perform job functions independently with limited supervision.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Develop executive-level Thales value propositions tailored to target customers.

Collaborate with customers to create business plans and secure executive commitment to proceed.

Establish business account plans and conduct quarterly reviews with sales executive management.
