Role Description:
Responsible for managing distributor accounts (OTD - Out To Distributor) and retailer (OTR - Out To Retailer) sales, driving revenue growth, increasing sales volume, and managing receivables in the assigned region for both CP and Seeds platforms.
The Regional Sales Manager also plays a critical role in ensuring that demand generation activities are appropriately implemented in the assigned region to generate and move out sales.
These need to be done in close coordination with the Category Manager, Demand Generation Manager, Sales team, & Field Science teams ensuring that CP/Seed portfolio value proposition is properly demonstrated and communicated to customers leading to product moveout better than competition.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Agriculture
Minimum 6-8 years’ Sales/Marketing experience in Ag Industry preferably in Crop Protection business or even outside Ag Industry
Hands-on experience in directly managing Channel partners/Distributors/Retailers with necessary proof points.
Hands-on Experience in launching & growing shares of Seed &/or Crop Protection products with necessary proof points.
Hands-on experience in leading execution of product field demonstration and demand generation plans
