Regional Sales Director

**Job Summary**
The Regional Sales Director for our Systems and Software Business has accountability to drive orders growth and increase market share with end-users in North Region (i.e. Qatar, Kuwait & Iraq). Leading and handling the sales and proposal team and driving strategies and initiatives in collaboration with the BU MEA and Global organization are keys for success in this role.
**In this Role, your responsibilities will be:**
+ Manage, build and develop direct sales reports to deliver profitable growth for the Business Unit
+ Analyze the region’s market and drive monthly and yearly forecast to meet or exceed regional and world area commitment
+ Drive key initiatives and strategies to increase market share and diversify served industries
+ Profile major accounts and repurpose the sales team focus to deliver supplementary growth
+ Meet or exceed territory financial objectives required in support of the SYSS MEA business plan
+ Develop long-term relationships with senior management within customer accounts to ensure awareness of Emerson capabilities and beneficial technologies.
+ Collaborate with and support the wider Emerson group of North Middle East Region and the World Area in addition to sales representatives in the region and enhance pull-through content
+ Increase revenue and profit from the existing installed base by promoting valuable solutions
+ Work closely with the proposal generation group to ensure all offers reflect customer needs, are forecasted, competitively priced and are submitted on time.
+ Improve customer satisfaction by finding solutions to their needs
+ Take a proactive role in working with the Emerson Global Project Pursuit Team and Key Account Managers to identify, qualify and pursue control system projects to achieve order conversion and maximize the potential for all Emerson Automation Solutions products and services.
+ Capture key customer business drivers and ensure inclusion within Emerson proposals.

**For this Role, You Will Need:**
+ 12-15 Years direct sales and sales management experience in the Middle East in the process control system and software domain
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (engineering degree desired)

+ Proficient in English/ Arabic Language-Written and spoken
+ Demonstrated ability to drive business growth
+ Able to travel locally and abroad as per the job needs
+ Understanding of the cultural and business norms in the Region
