Job Description

This role is field-based, and candidates must live within one of the following states: Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, Tennessee, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, Washington, D.C., Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, or Maine.

CHANGE LEADERSHIP: Provide compelling coaching, mentoring, development, and guidance across the business, including not only direct business franchise, but also cross-functional, other field teams and multiple-franchises. 

BUSINESS ACUMEN: Demonstrate deep and broad market knowledge across the sector, geography, and franchise, including key market access dynamics. Develop and provide quantitative & qualitative business acumen and analysis. 

EXECUTION: Drive expected sales growth and overall demand across all on-label indications.  

COACH: Develop top talent, providing and supporting development and exposure opportunities. 

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL UNDERSTANDING: Ensure all facets of the external market, segment, and internal enterprise are considered in the strategy and plan setting. 

KEY ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT: Identify barriers & challenges and help partner to drive development and implementation of solutions. 

COLLABORATION: Collaborating with a co-promotion partner, as well as cross-functional internal and in-field teams, to deliver results while maintaining a positive, patient-focused, working relationship. 

2L PEOPLE LEADERSHIP: Supervisory/Management Responsibilities – will have direct responsibility for leading leaders of individual contributors. 

Build strong, long-lasting relationships with key commercial stakeholders in the NHL disease space. 

Implement company’s commercial, field training, and product and services marketing strategies and tactics and hold teams accountable for pull-through. 

Act as a conduit for relevant market information from local field-based employees to home office management, as well as appropriate recommendations. 

Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and policies that govern the conduct of commercial activities. 

Future commercial model/community strategy may require this position to expand its role to support the strategic account managers in hiring, developing, and leading oncology specialists.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree: MBA Preferred 

10+ years of commercial Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Medical Device experience, with an exceptional and consistent record of strong sales leadership and performance, is critical for this role 

Hematology background, and buy and bill experience preferred 

Previous experience with a US product launch is highly desirable 

Strong leadership, planning & organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills 

Demonstrated ability to lead and encourage a group towards meeting and exceeding objectives 

Experienced at successfully leading cross-functional teams and influencing with or without authority 

Excellent oral and written presentation skills in both a live and virtual setting 

Ability to travel 80% 

Credentialing as required by offices and institutions
