POSITION SUMMARY

The Regional Quality Improvement Leader plays a critical role in driving the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of quality standards across the region in alignment with global company policies, business objectives, and specific product line requirements. This role acts as a key liaison between regional operations, business units, and corporate quality functions to ensure consistent execution of quality programs, process control, continuous improvement, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES / ACTIVITIES

Quality Strategy & Performance

Deploy and monitor the company’s quality policies, procedures, and standards across the region.

Align regional quality activities with global quality strategy and product line requirements.

Facilitate management reviews and quality risk assessments to drive accountability and strategic alignment.

Partner with business, product line, and operational leaders to define and implement quality KPIs.

Product Quality & Customer Satisfaction

Ensure DuPont Electronics customer relationship meets expectations of business goals and fosters our Partner of Choice culture.

Understand the customer needs, help business, product quality and operations teams in the region translate VOC requirements into action in alignment with global business goals.

Ensure effective and timely customer response in complaint management and request processes.

Ensure product quality effectiveness with systematic review of both internal and external data/trends to identify systematic and continual improvement opportunities in alignement with business goals.

Continuous Improvement

Champion a culture of quality and continuous improvement across all regional sites.

Partner with business stakeholder and operational excellence to drive best practices of continual improvement.

Identify and replicate best practices across the region to elevate quality maturity.

Monitor quality performance through key indicators and partner with stakeholder in action plans for improvement.

Statistical Process Control

Promote the use of data-driven decision-making and statistical process control (SPC) tools to ensure product and process capability.

Support teams in developing robust control plans aligned with critical-to-quality/performance characteristics.

Ensure appropriate data collection, monitoring/analysis systems and quality controls are in place to manage variation and prevent defects in raw materials, product lines and manufacturing/service processes.

Partner with quality and cross-functional teams to leverage big data systems for improved SPC and CAPA response

Leadership & Collaboration

Serve as the regional quality point of contact for business leaders, plant managers, engineering, and product line teams.

Provide mentorship and guidance to quality teams, reinforcing a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Collaborate closely with global quality, business and functions to ensure alignment on business-specific quality needs.

Support talent development, training, and competency building within the regional quality function.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

This role will interface with Global and Regional leaders in Quality and other disciplines including Business leadership and Commercial/Marketing, Operational and Enginering/Technical leaders.

Primary interfaces will be the regional Product Quality / Raw Material / Plant Quality leaders on routine basis to align on issues, requests, changes and on-going Quality improvement projects across the region and business.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science discipline; advanced degree preferred.

8-10+ years of progressive experience in engineering, 6-sigma and quality roles, preferably in manufacturing environment relating to electronics industry or semiconductor materials

Demonstrated experience leading regional or multi-site quality initiatives.

Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949), regulatory compliance, and auditing practices.

Proven ability to translate customer requirements and influence cross-functional teams and drive change.

Experience in formal problem solving and demonstrated cross-site project management.   Six-Sigma Black Belt preferred.

Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

COMPETENCIES / TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Exceptional ability to build relationships – collaborate across different organizations (Business/Marketing, Product Quality, Product Development, Manufacturing, Customers or Suppliers) to deliver results.

Proven project management skills – product improvements require multiple projects to be managed with data-driven risk management of varying levels of complexity.   This involves continually working prioritization and resourcing with the business and operations.  Need to have proven track record of working across functions and ensuring delivery of targeted results.

Excellent communication – ensure a good alignment between our business needs and priorities, manufacturing and other functions, and our customers and suppliers.  Required to be clear, concise and articulate, as well as possess the ability to summarize complex cases into simple actionable plans.  Also, need to have proven ability to translate internal messages to external customers in alignment with business and organizational objectives.

PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

This position will require periodic (10-25%) travel between regional customer sites, sales/field support locations and manufacturing locations.  This will require flexible work and travel schedule as not all holidays in home location coincide with holidays in all customer or company locations.
