Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. provides account management and customer support services to key health care customers, including hospital systems and group purchasing organizations, leading health plans, pharmacy benefit managers, and government health care institutions. The company also provides contract management, logistics and supply chain functions for the major Johnson & Johnson franchises.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ The Government RPO is responsible for working closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand how marketing, pricing, Go-to-Market and contracting strategies impact the government channel. The Government RPO must also be skilled at assessing strategies and creating a compliant execution plan to address the impacts to people, process and systems in the highly regulated government channel.
+ The Government RPO will work collaboratively with franchise stakeholders to provide subject matter expertise for business process harmonization, functional requirements definition and system configuration for their assigned work stream or channel. These processes and capabilities will enable the business owners to implement and complete contracting strategies more efficiently and effectively.
+ This position is also responsible for leading and/or supporting key strategic projects and initiatives, new contracting strategies, product launches, policy implementations/interpretation, and new business opportunities. For example, the Government RPO will be heavily involved in leading the execution of the Inflation Reduction Act.
+ The Government RPO will work collaboratively with all Contracting, Sales & Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Government and Supply Chain stakeholders to ensure that new or enhanced contracting strategies or changes integrate with other business processes for compliant, efficient and effective outcomes. This also includes working with the Commercial RPOs for IM and MT within ECM, as contract strategies can have impacts across the commercial and government channel.
+ The Government RPO may be required to lead and facilitate strategic business decisions within the region via the various governance bodies or project management offices.
+ The Government RPO is an integral member of the Government Channel Leadership Team and is expected to provide Director level leadership within the Government Channel, ECM, and the region to coach/mentor future leaders.
+ This position does have direct report accountability, the Government RPO will be responsible for the day to day activities and management of their assigned area, and they will provide guidance, counsel, development planning/mentoring, and performance feedback on a regular basis to team members of their channel and others they regularly interact with.
+ On an ongoing basis, they will continue to expand their knowledge and experience by regular engagement with key stakeholders to understand business processes, policies, strategies and evolving business trends.
**Qualifications**
**Education:**
+ A minimum of a BS/BA is required; MBA is preferred.
**Experience and Skills:**
**Required:**
+ A minimum of ten years of experience in a business-related setting is required.
+ A proven solid understanding of the end-to-end Government contract continuum from pricing/contract strategies through contract administration is required.
+ Demonstrated Government and Commercial strategy development experience is required
+ Experience with cross functional collaboration is required
+ Strong presentation skills are required.
**Preferred:**
+ Change management, Process Excellence and Project Management experience is preferred.
+ Experience working with multiple J&J franchises and sectors is preferred.
**Other:**
+ Domestic travel is also required up to 10 percent of the time.

**The anticipated base pay range for this position is :**
$146,000-$251,850
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
