Regional Private Dining Manager

The Regional Private Dining Manager is responsible for driving private dining and event sales across multiple restaurant locations, supporting local teams in achieving revenue goals through strategic sales efforts and targeted marketing initiatives. This role develops and implements outreach programs tailored to each geographical area, evaluates existing private dining programs by brand, and leads the redevelopment or our event offerings to achieve best-in-class performance. This position will work from our corporate office located in Costa Mesa as well as within the field supporting our restaurants.

Essential Qualifications:
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in event/private dinging sales, preferably in both restaurant and hotel environments.
+ 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience in sales, hospitality, or restaurant management.
+ Proven success managing multi-unit sales or regional accounts with at least $8 million dollars of sales volume.
+ Proven ability to partner with Marketing to create integrated campaigns and brand -forward outreach strategies that drive private dining awareness and conversion.
+ Experience sourcing , negotiating with, and managing third party vendors such as florists, AV providers, rental companies, and entertainment partners to support event execution and Guest satisfaction.
+ Proven success in indirectly managing a team of Sales & Event Managers providing ongoing training, coaching, and performance support to drive consistency, conversion, and professional growth across multiple restaurant locations.
+ Experience creating and evaluating sales programs, including performance benchmarks and improvement plans.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to create proposals, contracts, and operational documentation.
+ Solid understanding of restaurant operations and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (GMs, Chefs, Managers).
+ Detail-oriented and highly organized; able to manage multiple event calendars and sales pipelines simultaneously.
+ Proficient in CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and digital marketing platforms.
+ Resourceful, self-motivated, and achievement-driven.
+ Flexible schedule with the ability to travel locally and regionally to support restaurants and attend events.
Essential Responsibilities:
+ Develop and execute a regional outbound sales strategy, including prospecting plans, lead generation through multiple channels(digital platforms, email, phone, in-person), and targeted outreach to corporate clients, local businesses, and event planners.
+ Design and implement localized sales initiatives and booking goals tailored to each geographic area and restaurant brand.
+ Provide direct sales support to restaurants during high-volume periods or at underperforming locations to ensure revenue goals are met.
+ Build and maintain partnerships with local chambers, convention bureaus, hospitality associations, and community organizations to expand lead pipelines and brand visibility.
+ Train Sales/Event Managers in best practices for outbound sales, lead conversions, CRM utilization, and guest communication.
+ Create brand-specific toolkits, proposal templates, and sales scripts to standardize and elevate the sales process across restaurants.
+ Monitor and ensure consistent tracking of inquiries, follow-up cadence, and sales funnel progress using CRM and reporting tools.
+ Deliver quarterly business reviews to leadership summarizing regional performance, key wins, challenges, and upcoming initiatives.
+ Audit and evaluate each brand's private dining and event programs to identify strengths, weaknesses, and growth opportunities. Lead redevelopment efforts to ensure offerings are competitive , Guest-centric , and operationally aligned.
+ Partner with Marketing to develop regional campaigns, branded collateral, and targeted email outreach that support sales goals and event awareness.
+ Collaborate with Culinary and Beverage Directors to create seasonal or limited- time event packages that drive urgency and suggestive sell potential.
