Make an Impact as Regional Planning Lead – MEAIR

We’re seeking a collaborative and forward-thinking Regional Planning Lead to guide the S&OP Centre of Excellence for the MEAIR region (Middle East, Africa, India, and Russia). This influential leadership role will strengthen demand and supply planning capabilities across diverse markets—ensuring our operations remain efficient, data-informed, and customer-focused.

As a trusted planning partner, you’ll support local teams, enhance service delivery, optimize inventory practices, and promote consistent, best-in-class processes. You’ll also work closely with cross-functional colleagues—from Supply Chain and Sales to Finance and Manufacturing—to align priorities and achieve shared goals.

Key Responsibilities

S&OP & Planning Excellence

Coordinate the MEAIR S&OP process across markets and manufacturing sites, aligned with global practices

Facilitate weekly reporting on demand–supply gaps and support backorder resolution efforts

Establish and maintain planning norms that balance forecast stability and customer needs

Encourage a consistent and collaborative review cadence across teams

Inventory & Supply Risk Management

Support the development of country and regional inventory plans aligned to commercial priorities

Apply data-informed policies for inventory, including safety stock and replenishment logic

Monitor ABCD classifications and develop proactive responses to minimize SMOG and stockout risks

Collaborate on MOQ alignment across materials and finished goods

Strategic Projects & Process Innovation

Partner with global teams to implement planning systems and share regional insights

Map and refine supply chain processes with an end-to-end improvement mindset

Contribute to system integration efforts and support alignment of data and reporting standards

Provide actionable insights that foster continuous improvement and collaboration

Reporting & Performance Analytics

Build and maintain accessible dashboards to monitor KPIs: Forecast Accuracy, OTIF, Inventory Health, ABCD classification, etc.

Collaborate with country leaders to ensure visibility of risks and implementation of mitigation plans

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business; MBA preferred

10–15 years of experience in demand/supply/material planning and S&OP leadership across regional/multi-BU settings (Chemicals or FMCG a plus)

5+ years in people leadership, mentoring, or team development roles

Experience with SAP APO, Logility, or similar planning systems

Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau)

A supportive leadership style with strong analytical thinking and cross-functional collaboration skills

Ability to thrive in dynamic, multicultural environments and build consensus across diverse teams

Fluency in English is essential; the working language of this role is English

French is a plus, particularly for collaboration with Francophone markets in the region

Turkish language skills are welcome, but not required
