Now Brewing – regional partner & asset protection manager (New York Metro, North Atlantic - U.S.)! #tobeapartner

From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee and the rich tradition, but that also brought a feeling of connection. We are known for developing extraordinary leaders who share this passion and are guided by their service to others.

Regional P&AP managers are responsible for providing subject matter expertise, advising on enterprise programs, and identifying effective, thoughtful safety and security solutions for our Retail Coffeehouse and Siren Roastery and Reserve locations.  They build leader capability to respond to physical safety and security incidents that impact partner and customer safety, and they consult with cross-functional stakeholders, inside and outside of the organization.

As a regional P&AP manager, you will...

Demonstrate strong planning and organizational skills, and ability to work independently, while covering a broad geography.  Balance travel and expenses according to business needs and budgetary requirements.         Analyze data and trends.  Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and written.  Create and present information across a variety of audiences.          Consult and advise key stakeholders, both inside and outside of Starbucks.  Build business acumen and remain current on industry practices and enterprise priorities.         In partnership with regional leaders and cross-functional business partners, create market strategies to enable a welcome and safe environment.         Respond to escalated incidents and support leaders and cross-functional teams during crisis events.  Manage confidential and sensitive information.         Work remotely and balance time between administrative and shoulder-to-shoulder in-market activities.  Travel within geographic responsibility on a regular basis.  Attend in-person and virtual meetings.             Collaborate and function as a member of a team.  Role model personal development through self-awareness, reflection, and feedback from others.            Utilize technology, systems, and resources effectively within the scope of the role.

We’d love to hear from people with...

(3 years) Retail, restaurant, manufacturing, or other general management experience.         (3 years) Security, crisis, or incident management consulting and trend analysis.         (2 years) Multi-unit management, regional consultation, or equivalent experience.
