Location:

The Regional Manager – MEGASYS®, West Region is an on-site position based in either Austin, TX, or Santa Clara, CA (Bay Area), with 50% travel required to meet business needs.

 

Your Role:
MEGASYS® specializes in managing gases, chemicals, and slurries, providing essential on-site support in semiconductor manufacturing environments.

 

As the Regional Manager, you will oversee operations across multiple sites within a semiconductor manufacturing context, producing chips used in electronic devices such as smartphones, LEDs, and flat-screen TVs. This challenging, fast-paced, and rewarding opportunity is ideal for individuals eager to contribute to a growing business.

 

In this role, you will provide overall direction and leadership to the on-site MEGASYS® operations teams in your region. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that customer service scope is adequately supported and resourced to achieve safe operations, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. The Regional Manager is a customer-facing position, responsible for handling escalations and identifying new growth opportunities within the region.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Establish and communicate goals and objectives for overall site operations. Serve as the primary interface between regional MEGASYS® teams and EMD management and support groups. Ensure safe operations at all customer sites in the region. Execute an operational excellence business model at MEGASYS® sites in the region. Assist Site Managers in prioritizing resources and site initiatives that align with organizational and customer goals. Act as the operational escalation point for MEGASYS® teams, supporting both MEGASYS® and the customer base. Develop and mentor the regional leadership team. Monitor and develop key performance indicators across the region. Collaborate with EMD commercial partners on changes to the TCGM operating agreement, including operational adjustments, modifications to the scope of work, and service fees in the region.

 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering, or a related science/technical field, with 8+ years of experience in chemical related operations or manufacturing environments, demonstrating progressive responsibility; or 12 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Ability to travel domestically, including overnight stays and possible international travel, with an expected travel commitment of approximately 50%. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and influence others. Strong presentation skills, with the capability to convey material clearly and concisely to various audience levels. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and familiarity with ISO 9001 standards or management of process standards in a manufacturing setting.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficient in personal computer software in a business environment, with Microsoft Office preferred. Ability to learn and operate the company’s computer systems related to the position (SAP, Oracle, etc.). Strongly preferred semiconductor industry experience. Proven ability to lead a large organization of similar size and scope to meet safety, health, and environmental standards. Experience in implementing solutions to drive operational strategies focused on cost reduction and continuous improvement.

 

 

 

Pay Range for this position: $173,800 – 260,600

 

Our ranges are derived from several sources, and largely reliant on relevant industry market data.
