Responsibilities

The role is responsible for leading a team of technical IT specialists providing infrastructure service management support along with second-line support to end users in the respective region with below overall responsibilities.

\n\nInfrastructure Management:\n\nOversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, storage, etc.).\nEnsure high availability, reliability, and performance of infrastructure components.\n\n\nService Delivery Management:\n\nManage the delivery of IT services to meet business requirements and service level agreements (SLAs).\nMonitor service performance and implement improvements as necessary.\n\n\nIncident and Problem Management:\n\nEstablish and manage processes for incident and problem resolution to minimize downtime.\nAnalyse incidents to identify trends and prevent future occurrences.\n\n\nChange Management:\n\nImplement and manage change management processes to ensure minimal disruption to services.\nEvaluate and approve changes to the infrastructure and services.\n\n\nCapacity Planning and Management:\n\nMonitor and analyse the capacity of infrastructure resources to ensure they meet current and future business needs.\nDevelop and implement capacity plans to optimize resource utilization.\n\n\nDisaster Recovery and Business Continuity:\n\nDevelop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for IT services.\nConduct regular testing and updates to ensure effectiveness.\n\n\nVendor Management:\n\nManage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure quality service delivery.\nNegotiate contracts and monitor vendor performance against SLAs.\n\n\nBudgeting and Cost Management:\n\nDevelop and manage the budget for infrastructure and service management.\nMonitor expenses and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality.\n\n\nTeam Leadership and Development:\n\nLead and develop the infrastructure and service management team to enhance skills and performance.\nFoster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.\n\n\nStakeholder Engagement:\n\nCollaborate with business units to understand their IT needs and align services accordingly.\nCommunicate effectively with stakeholders regarding service status, incidents, and changes.\n\n\n\n\nContinuous Improvement:\n\nIdentify opportunities for process improvements in infrastructure and service management.\nStay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance service delivery.\n\n\nGovernance, Risk and Compliance Management:\n\nEnsure that infrastructure and services comply with relevant regulations, standards, and organizational policies from Infosec standpoint.\nImplement security measures to protect infrastructure and data.\nData Protection principles, GDPR , DPDP , and other relevant regulations/laws with their applicability to Infrastructure solutions and business contract reviews.\n\n\n\n

Requirements

Experience:

\n\nMinimum 7 years’ experience within IT.\nMinimum 3 years’ experience in infrastructure management.\nMinimum 2-years’ project delivery experience.\n\n

Qualification: University bachelor’s degree in engineering or a business discipline and work experience, preferably in the Supply Chain , Forwarding/Logistics sector. Certifications like CCNA , PMP , Prince2 , ITIL , COBIT , CISSP , CISM , ISO 27001 , CIPM etc are preferred.
