As our Regional Manager – Investigations, Technology & Asset Protection Systems, you’ll be at the forefront of protecting our business while empowering teams with smart, data-driven solutions. You’ll collaborate across departments, lead initiatives that reduce shrink and fraud, and help build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. This position is based in Tri-State area (NY, NJ, PA).
What You’ll Be Doing Strategy & Collaboration Co-develop the Asset Protection (AP) strategy focused on investigations and systems. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to design long-term solutions for shrink mitigation. Build relationships with technology vendors and industry groups to stay ahead of trends in loss prevention. Data-Driven Leadership Lead efforts to analyze and compile data that supports AP investigations and decision-making. Use store data, relational databases, and exception-based reports to uncover insights and drive action. Guide teams in using profitability tools across business segments like Inventory, Supply Chain, and Merchandising. Training & Enablement Implement and train teams on AP software programs and tools. Create user-friendly documents and dashboards to support analysis and reporting (MTD, YTD, company totals, etc.). Performance & Innovation Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across regions and stores to identify trends and opportunities. Drive special projects and presentations that showcase AP functions and results. Recommend and implement improvements to internal controls and operational processes. What You’ll Need Skills & Knowledge Strong communication skills—both written and verbal. Advanced proficiency in: Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint Access, SQL, and Exception-Based Reporting (EBR) Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and lead initiatives. Experience participating in or leading cross-functional task forces. Experience Minimum 4 years in retail asset protection, investigations, training, or operations. Demonstrated success in building partnerships internally and externally. Familiarity with AP-related exception reporting systems and processes.Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications Experience conducting AP investigations using Wicklander-Zulawski (WZ) certified techniques. Knowledge of AP modeling techniques (Descriptive, Diagnostic, Predictive, Prescriptive). Understanding of relational databases and database querying.

For this position, the estimated hiring pay range is $93,000 to $139,000. Your actual pay offer will be based on several factors, including your experience, skills, location, and other job-related qualifications. We also consider how compensation is structured within the team and organization to ensure fairness, including pay rates of associates in similar positions.
The range is adjusted for geographic differences and does not include additional incentives or benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, or retirement plans, unless required by law. Eligibility for benefits depends on your location and role.
