• Responsible for system audits as it relates to scheduled meal services.
**What you'll do**

+ Oversee catering partners’ performance and compliance to contractually mandated metrics within assigned hub and region
+ Conduct comprehensive audits of each provider’s kitchen and field operations, analyze results and develop corrective action plans for performance failures with caterer management team
+ Analyze performance trends and reports on flight attendant and customer data with regards to catering accuracy and service failures
+ Lead operational meetings and serve as a liaison between airport management, Inflight and catering partner to resolve ongoing operational challenges
+ Collaborate with Purchasing on catering bid strategies and cost cutting initiatives including RFPs
+ Develop and implement alternative catering options as needed during off schedule operations and kitchen disruptions (e.g. labor actions, extreme weather conditions, etc.)
+ Manage caterer start-ups and/or transitions and oversee training on AA specifications and procedures including menu production, equipment/inventory management, meal ordering, aircraft servicing and aircraft ramp safety
**All you'll need for success**
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/training
• 3 years experience in airline/hotel food and beverage, restaurants, catering, purchasing, or Flight Service
• Prior project management work experience
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
• Experience in airline catering operations, aircraft galleys, or flight service
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Publisher
• Ability to be creative and analytical, with demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage workloads with changing priorities, limited direction and ease
• Ability to concisely present work to internal and external parties
• Ability to organize, lead, and plan projects
