THE ROLE The Regional Loss Prevention is responsible for minimizing loss, mitigating risk, and protecting company assets across multiple locations within a designated geographic region. This role leads investigations into theft, fraud, and policy violations, conducts compliance audits, and supports the development of local management through loss prevention training and awareness initiatives. The Regional Loss Prevention will oversee and support field-based Loss Prevention Managers and Analysts, working in close partnership with operational leaders to drive results in safety, compliance, and asset protection. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: + Lead and prioritize regional investigations into theft, fraud, policy violations, and other incidents that could impact financial or operational performance. + Oversee and guide the investigative activities of Loss Prevention Managers and Analysts, ensuring alignment with company policies and legal standards. + Collect, organize, and analyze data related to incidents, compliance, and trends; present findings to leadership. + Conduct audits of operational practices, cash handling procedures, safety protocols, and physical security standards in alignment with corporate guidelines. + Partner with Human Resources and Operations to deliver loss prevention training and awareness education to field leaders and store/center management. + Maintain open communication with corporate and regional leadership regarding ongoing investigations and compliance concerns. + Travel regularly within the assigned region, including occasional overnight and weekend travel based on business needs. + Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE + Bachelor’s degree preferred. + 1–3 years of multi-unit loss prevention or asset protection experience, ideally in retail, hospitality, or service-based industries. + Proven experience conducting internal investigations and interviews; Wicklander-Zulawski (WZ) certification or equivalent training strongly preferred. + Familiarity with POS systems, exception reporting tools, CCTV, and electronic security systems is a plus. Skills & Abilities + Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism. + Analytical thinker with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights. + Flexibility to travel extensively and work varied hours, including nights and weekends as needed. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and investigative reporting tools.
