The Opportunity

This position works out of our Almaty, Kazakhstan location in the Abbott Diagnostics Division.
As the Regional Laboratory Equipment Business Development and Support Specialist you’ll be representing Abbott to targeted customers in order to increase awareness of Abbott and its brand, generate sales opportunities and build customer preference.

What You’ll Do

Development of existing clients within the assigned territory

Forecasting and achieving planned indicators for sales volumes of equipment and services

Building long-term relationships with clients, including after-sales service and client development planning

Market development, search for new clients.

Required Qualifications

Higher education: medicine / biomedicine / medical technology / engineering / electromechanics

Knowledge of diagnostics equipment and the local diagnostics market

Excellent sales skills, successful experience in developing the client's business

Excellent communication and negotiation skills with key decision-makers

Technical literacy preferred, engineering experience preferred

English - spoken Intermediate level

Ability to travel up to 50% of assigned territory
