Regional Fleet Specialist, Global Fleet and Products
Description Amazon's Global Fleet Products Fleet Expansion team is seeking a highly motivated and independent thinking program manager to serve as a Regional Fleet Specialist for upcoming fleet launches and fleet growth in Brazil. To ensure our fleet remains the world’s safest and most efficient in the world, this role is critical to driving daily tactical execution of fleet-related tasks and assisting partner teams with the operationalization of cross-functional projects and programs. This role will interact daily with on-site station leadership and Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) to drive key initiatives for the GFP Fleet team. A successful candidate thrives in roles with significant visibility from cross-functional stakeholders, can autonomously deliver results, and influence without authority. Key job responsibilities Operating from a regional perspective, the Regional Fleet Specialist will have the following responsibilities: - On-site field support for delivery stations - owning station level support and escalations in the field. - Comfortable driving KPIs (i.e., compliance and safety metrics) with internal and external stakeholders. - Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment and provide daily tactical feedback to other leaders in the organization. - Partner with Amazon Operations leaders, DSPs, and Corporate program teams to drive adherence to business goals and initiatives. - Engage Operations and DSP teams on standard work and best practices and maintain accountability to Fleet standards with in-station presence, vehicle safety audits, and coaching. * Coordinate with third party companies to ensure Best in Class service is provided to Amazon Fleet. * Comfortable operating remotely—this role is field support may not be co-located with your manager. - Conduct calibration audits monthly at delivery stations, ensuring the quality of fleet Examples of Specific Responsibilities: - Drive accountability with Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) for fleet quality and maintenance; reporting findings on DBRs/WBRs - Conduct in-depth analyses of fleet metrics to understand the root causes of capacity escalations and issues at the DSP level - Oversight of Station-Level Vehicle Safety Audits (VSAs): Partner with Yard Marshalls from each Delivery Station to ensure VSAs are being performed at the proper interval and address any VSA escalations from these. - Organize roundtables with DSPs to capture all pain points in the network and escalate them to the relevant stakeholders, support the implementation of strategic initiatives. Basic Qualifications - Experience in program or project management - Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams - Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics - Bachelor's degree - Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL - Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements Preferred Qualifications - Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership - Experience leading process improvements - Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization - Experience building processes, project management, and schedules Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
