Salary: £60,000–£70,000 + 10% Bonus + Company Car + Private Medical
Location: Commutable distance of either Brinsworth, Thame, Wolverhampton, St Helens or Middlesbrough.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a varied and dynamic role, combining hands-on technical responsibility with leadership, supplier engagement, and strategic development. You’ll play a vital role in driving engineering standards, improving vehicle availability, and supporting innovation in cryogenic and compressed gas transport.

What you’ll be doing:
Overseeing new vehicle builds, refurbishments, and system specifications for Bulk, Cryospeed and Special Gases vehicles – including hydrogen and heliumActing as the Primary Technical Authority for Bulk and Cryospeed vehicles and Secondary Technical Authority for PGPSupporting and developing in-house workshops and supplier baseDelivering in-house training and ensuring compliance with SHEQ standardsBuilding strong working relationships with suppliers, external bodies (e.g. DVSA), and internal teams including QA, Procurement and Mechanical EngineeringWhat we’re looking for:
Extensive experience in LGV Engineering and MaintenanceUnderstanding of ADR regulations and hazardous goods transportTechnical knowledge of road tanker and compressed gas trailer systemsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsCommercial awareness and a collaborative approachA technical qualification (e.g. C&G Technician’s Certificate)ADR Licence (Class 2, tanks & packages) essentialLGV C+E Licence (desirable)Interested?
