The role youll contribute:

Under the general direction of the Regional Director of Accounting & Finance, the Regional Finance Manager provides financial and decision support to administration and the Senior Financial Management of the East Florida Region Facility Hospitals (the "Region"). Designs and develops reports and graphs to meet the informational needs of the Regional Facility Hospitals. Primary responsibilities include managerial supervision of Region wide ad-hoc reporting and data analysis, strategic planning and proforma development and management of cost accounting systems. Demonstrates ability to analyze problems, analyze and present appropriate data, recommend new and/or modified procedures and facilitate implementation. Maintains established standards and protocols of the assigned unit and Florida Hospital goals and objectives.

The value youll bring to the team:

Statistical Reporting: Prepares or oversees month-end statistical reports submitted to AHS or other East Florida Region Facility leadership. Assists leadership in the analysis of data available at month end.

Cost Accounting: Provides support for the Cost Accounting Systems. Prepares and assists with Cost process, including reconciliation back to final GL reports

Budget: Manages the annual operating and department budgets for the Market. Assists with coordination of capital budget. Assists CFOs and Regional/Facility Controllers with initial volume assumptions.

Feasibility Studies: Prepares studies relative to financial impact and departmental profit and loss statements as requested. Prepares studies relative to potential new lines of business or revisions to existing lines of business for the Region as requested.

Cost and AHCA Reports: Oversees preparation of cost and AHCA reports with the Corporate Office. Assists Region/Facility Controllers with review of cost and AHCA reports.

The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications :

Bachelor's Required

2 Finance/Accounting experience Required

Preferred qualifications:

Master's Preferred

1 Healthcare Finance/Accounting experience Preferred

MGMA ACMPE certified Preferred

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Preferred
