Regional Finance Lead

Position Purpose:

The Regional Finance Lead (RFL) will support the Pac North and Pac Northwest stores and the regional leadership team, providing financial analysis, thought partnership and strategic support. This leader is responsible for developing financial planning, forecasting, and reporting to help the stores achieve financial and strategic goals. The RFL owns the regional P&L and plays a key role in driving functional metrics, controlling costs, and driving sales.


Key Responsibilities:

30% Planning/Forecasting: build store level sales, wage, margin, inventory, G&A and expense plans; evaluate sales, inventory, ,margin, impact and expense plan adjustments; forecast sales, labor, expenses and G&A.30% Financial Reviews: review stats & controllable expenses and provide actions and solutions to increase profitability; review payroll components including Off-Cycle, New Hire and FT/PT mix; review P&L, provide variance explanations and submit monthly reclasses and accruals to Accounting; prepare regional analysis and contribute on regional leadership calls.30% Adhoc financial analysis: conduct root cause analysis; adhoc executive reporting and analysis; perform market/district analysis; adhoc HR and Compensation reviews; perform product sales trend analysis5% Training: conduct field financial training sessions.


Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

Typically reports to Division Finance LeaderSupports Divisional and Regional leadership teamsNo associates report to this role on a permanent basis, but requires the leadership of a work group: assign and review work, train and contribute to performance appraisal (but not hiring, firing or disciplinary action).


Travel Requirements:

Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.


Physical Requirements:

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.


Working Conditions:

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be eighteen years of age or older.Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Knowledge of THD systems, specifically SAP; Khalix (expense and sales); Pro Clarity; Business Warehouse (BW); Analytics Cube; Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Powerpoint).MBA preferredRetail Field Experience a PlusAccounting Experience a Plus

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
