This position is a key leader on a Healthcare Account core team responsible for managing a large team, client relationships, and ensuring quality delivery of Facility Management Operations while supporting Compliance, Small Projects, and Financial Performance. This individual will ensure all contract deliverables are met or exceeded, including operational up time, cost savings initiatives, energy consumption reduction initiatives, and service improvements and introduction of best practices and innovations.
The Jones Lang LaSalle Regional Director of Facilities Manager will assume responsibility for managing Facilities within a given Geographic Region while also being accountable for creating and developing an environment/culture that enables the hospital(s) to meet and/or exceed their mission and site objectives. Services managed include but are not limited to:
• Site Engineering
• Small Project Management
• Landscape/Grounds
• Compliance (Survey readiness, TJC)
• Financial stewardess
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develop and support multiple high performance site teams, with specific responsibility for the team performance and development of the Facilities Managers and any regional support personnelDevelop and maintain meaningful relationships with all key client stakeholdersCollaborate with hospital staff on facility planning, design, and constructionEnsure high client satisfaction by continually monitoring performance and delivery, making corrections where necessary, and serving as an escalation point for any site issues requiring resolutionDevelop and manage capital and expense budgets, variance reporting and overall P&L performance for the region with high regard for achieving gross margin targetsOversee annual budgeting, financial management, and system navigation, to include resource utilization and budget and KPI adherenceManage direct reports performance and provide oversight and support of people leaders withing organization to ensure the highest performance management possibleImplement best practices and innovations in support of the JLL delivery platform, ensuring compliance with all codes and legislative requirementsConducts facility tours, creates reports, and develops corrective action plans. Ensure building systems and equipment maintenance comply with manufacturer recommendations, CMS-Joint Commission standards, and applicable regulations. Implements and enforces safety procedures and protocols. Ensures a safe work environment through adherence to safety and infection control policies, including proper use of protective equipment and contamination protocols. Partner with third party services providers and landlords to ensure consistency in service delivery and the use of best practices throughout all sitesProvide leadership for the successful implementation of special projects and initiativesConsistently demonstrate leadership related to HR issues resolution, responsiveness and creativityCoordinate discussions with each direct report regarding goal setting, performance reviews, and career development planning and incentive/salary administrationSupport JLL’s employee engagement objectives by enabling a high-performance team and supporting diversity in the workplaceConfer or respond to afterhours emergenciesManages facility incident reports and ensures resolution. Utilizes CMMS and Compliance ATG for work assignment management. Maintains strong relationships with Finance, Performance Management, HR, and Sourcing.QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalentMinimum 10 years’ Hospital/Healthcare Facilities Management is required. Joint Commission Survey and CMS Survey Experience at the Hospital level. Fully knowledgeable of activities necessary to produce a state of perpetual readiness at all hospitals in the portfolio Strong financial acumen with background in successfully managing P&L outcomesStrong organizational and management skills Experience in matrix management Exceptional leadership abilities, including strong organizational, strategic and interpersonal skillsExperience leading/managing a large, complex and geographically dispersed team. Excellent communications skills, both written and oral, and an ability to effectively present to large groupsStrong judgment, problem-solving and crisis management Technically proficient in operations of Building Management Systems, Life Safety Systems, CMMS, Microsoft Office, Power Point, and Microsoft Outlook software. 50% travel (1-2 weeks per month)Estimated total compensation for this position:
175,000.00 – 185,000.00 USD per yearThe total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
