GENERAL SUMMARY The Regional Director is responsible for monitoring and overseeing the successful growth and development of centers and center team members under their purview. This role oversees but is not limited to overall customer experience, education, sales, operations and local marketing activities of the center.  You will also be acting as a Center Director for Bellevue while learning and growing in the role of the Regional Director Do you gain energy from being busy? If it sounds like something you would love, keep reading… Sylvan Learning is currently hiring a Regional Director. Sylvan Learning provides academic tutoring for students from Kindergarten through 12th grade so that students can get ahead or just get caught up. As a franchise group of 6 centers our mission is to see success with every child. The Regional Director’s role is to oversee the operational activities of each center in their region to ensure the centers achieve success with every child that walks through their doors. You guessed it, keep on reading… ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS * Base Office is Bellevue and can require travel to other centers from Stanwood – Renton depending on the turnover/Training needs * Consistently maintain the KPI expectations of the system in sales and operations. * Be the friendly face of Sylvan, providing top-notch customer service that ensures all calls and walk-ins are answered promptly during business hours. * Assesses and observes students, discusses results and observations with parents, and sets goals that accompany a plan for success. * Meets with parents to discuss enrollment options & opportunities, as well as ongoing support * Be the expert at keeping our customers engaged and enrolled by directing the sales and service process throughout the customer lifecycle. * Help our customers find the best payment options for their needs and make sure the application and closing process is smooth and stress-free. * Build relationship and complete understanding of each team members role in order to help develop and hold accountable for growth * Monitors the implementation of timely and high-quality personal customer service response to all calls and walk-in inquiries; Ensures calls get answered during business hours * Holds center team accountable to sales and expense financial targets * Oversees Director of Student Advancement to ensure good instructional management * Monitors and ensures a high level of delivery of the sales and service process of the customer lifecycle to keep customers enrolled * Ensures full understanding of the financing options that meet the customer’s needs * Holds accountable to the completion of marketing and sales activities to drive new enrollments * Sets goals and oversees the growth and development of collaborative relationships with teachers, educational specialists and other school administrators and parent/teacher organizations * Ensures center teams conducts school visits to establish and maintain relationships with school personnel for partnership and marketing purposes * Ensures center teams maintain the professional appearance of the Center according to Sylvan standards * Ensures center teams adhere to established Sylvan operating standards with attention to student safety and well-being   SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS * Can define what your "win" and your “why” is * Leads by example not by dictatorship * Not afraid to get your “hands dirty” * Interested in development of others * Maintains and demands a high level of trust and accountability in all relationships * Committed – we are not looking for a “swipe right for your next date” mentality * Highly Detail Oriented * Is hungry--and no, we don't mean for pizza! * Multitask like it is going out of style * Kept your first checkbook balanced * Have a memory like Rain Man * Know how to control and manage your own time—Ferris Bueller should not be your role model * Like people—seriously, do we need to say more? * Find kids fun—again, do we need to say more? * Can handle a group text * Own your actions –don’t blame others—that just isn’t nice * Believes in the power of Radical Honesty * Can embrace the phrase—“it always works out” * Loves to learn and sees feedback as an opportunity to grow * Believes education is valuable and important * Know who Simon Sinek is--or at least watched his Ted Talk before deciding to apply to this position * Hold a bachelor’s degree BENEFITS * Base Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 Plus Bonus * Health Insurance * 401K (upon eligibility) * Sylvan Tuition Incentives * PTO If you’re a force to be reckoned with in the world and you want to hear more about our dream and how it fits with your dream, and if you’re excited to be a part of a fast growing and fast paced company, take the leap and submit your application today.
