Regional Director

South Region: While this role is remote, candidates must be prepared to travel up to 60% of the time and should be based in the metropolitan area of Dallas-Fort Worth with convenient access to DFW Airport. 

 

JOB SUMMARY

As Regional Director, you'll deliver strategic leadership and operational oversight for multiple Districts and large-box stores in your Region. You'll be directly accountable for monitoring and exceeding Region goals in revenue, key operational performance indicators (KPIs), and profitability. A core part of this role involves empowering your District Managers to surpass company standards, boosting Team Member engagement along with growth and development, cultivating a customer-centric environment, collaborating with key business partners, and continuously refining strategies to achieve top results.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 

Develop and execute comprehensive Region strategies aligned with overall company objectives, translating them into actionable plans for District Managers and store teams.Achieve Region’s financial and operational goals, maximizing sales and profitability through data-driven planning and expense control, while ensuring consistent, high-quality customer experiences. Ensure all stores consistently deliver exceptional customer experiences that align with our standards and values, driving customer loyalty and positive brand perception. Drive the development of high-performing teams throughout your Region. This involves strategic talent management, including robust recruitment, ongoing coaching, effective performance management, and tailored development plans to maximize individual and team potential.Maintain strong accountability and adherence to all operational standards, policies, and procedures across the Region, maintaining a high level of operational efficiency and compliance.Forge strong relationships and collaboration with peers, cross functional partners and Home Office partners to leverage expertise in developing and executing strategiesMonitor operational statistics, reports trends, variances, and issues, and takes appropriate action.Build and develop a team to drive initiatives to support the network and company strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of progressive management or leadership experience in high volume/multi-unit business.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Financial and business acumen to drive profitability. Minimum of 5 years of direct responsibility for annual revenue, operating budgets, or profit & loss (P&L) in a big-box retail or high-volume store setting. Demonstrated ability to react effectively to market trends and seasonal changes.Extensive travel is required, along with availability as business needs dictate (i.e. nights, weekends, and holidays).Demonstrated experience of cross-divisional partnership and collaboration.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate clearly and concisely to all levels of the organization.Results-oriented, drives a culture of accountability and with a strong sense of urgency. Ability to effectively manage competing business demands while consistently ensuring execution and high-quality results.
