This role supports Arvato’s newest data center services (ATC), delivering critical solutions such as high-security transport, white-glove delivery, and technical support. Our clients include hyperscale data center operators, high-tech freight forwarders, co-location providers, and Software as a Service (SaaS) companies.
The Regional Coordinator for a region will work as part of a new team to represent ATC at customers’ sites, manage a start-up team and deal with local vendors. By being a physical and visible presence, the coordinator will ensure the highest standards of customer service are achieved and maintained at customer collection and delivery points. The coordinator will enable ATC’s relationships with customers to be strengthened and open new opportunities for mutual business.
YOUR TASKS
Act as a point of contact for customers and vendors in the region. Report to ATC’s management on all aspects of customer relationships in the region. Develop trusted relationships with customers and vendors. Maintain a strong physical presence on both customers’ and vendors’ sites. Keep customers pro-actively updated on the status of shipments enroute and relevant operational activities. Be always accessible to customer(s), providing open and timely communications. Actively seek customer feedback. Alert ATC Management of any issues or change of customer requirements. Suggest improvements based on observations at customer(s) sites. Manage the start-up team. Physical presence at customers’ sites for collections and/or deliveries (also required at 3rd party sites for stock verifications/cycle counts) Ensuring that all H&S and security protocols are followed. Contacting vendors and updating ATC’s Planning Team prior to arrival at collection or delivery site Update customers and ATC’s Planning team with status of collections and/or deliveries. Confirming all customer procedures have been adhered to. Reporting on status of shipments enroute to customer(s) Reporting on status of equipment at sites (e.g., Bars, straps, ramps etc.) to ATC’s Planning Team Providing feedback on the performance of personnel provided by ATC’s vendors. Offering suggestions for improvement based on observations at customer sites. On occasion may be required to visit / attend other European sites, depending on demand or operational requirements.YOUR PROFILE
Ability to lead and manage a larger group with a proven history. Previous experience working in the logistics industry. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills and the ability to work at all levels, inside and outside operations. Very strong communication skills to deal regularly with staff at all levels of the organisation and in all functions, in particular when working closely with non-operations staff. Proven capability to implement operational improvements to enhance service and productivity. Proven ability to organise self and others to achieve objectives. Experience in supporting and developing staff/teams to deliver superior results and a team development mentality. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Computer skills; with experience and knowledge of ERP software, Excel, Word, and to a lesser extent, PowerPoint. Valid Driving license (required). Experience with MS SharePoint in a corporate environment preferred. An A2 (or greater) level in a European language where ATC operates preferred.WE OFFER
