The Regional Community Coordinator is responsible for improving academic and student experiences in the online environment through blended opportunities. The Regional Community Coordinator will support families in their region by helping onboard new families, schedule regional school events, create and promote on social media, and support work-based learning experiences. The Regional Community Coordinator will also be responsible for providing resources for families in their communities.

Arrange and coordinate student face to face events within designated geographic area of the state to include:Monthly F2F meet and greetsOther F2F meetings as the geographical area deems needed based on interest and needs inventoriesStudent engagement in community service learning and work-based learning projectsFacilitate social media, marketing, and communication for student eventsCreate, distribute, and review surveys for families to determine type of events they support; gather feedback after events to determine effectivenessWork with leadership to create and plan appropriate events for studentsCoordinate with Career Tech team to connect with students doing work-based learning and/or practicum workCommunicate with students, schools, and businesses to ensure Career Prep student satisfaction and meaningful experiences for placementsWork with Family Engagement Coordinator to coordinate eventsWork with leadership to communicate information pertaining to community eventsWork with leadership team to create and communicate socialization opportunities for parents during state testingMay work with leadership to help develop hybrid learning opportunitiesOther duties as assignedSupervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree ANDTwo (2) years of experience working with families in a similar capacity, and/or facilitating community involvement OREquivalent combination of education and experienceCertificates and Licenses: None required.
Residency Requirement: Must be an Arkansas resident
OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Familiarity with online learning environment;Strong organizations and time management skills;Strong written and verbal communication skills;Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visit, etc.); Web proficiency;Ability to travel 50% of the time;Ability to clear required background check.Must reside in ArkansasDesired Qualifications:
