**Who will you be working with?** This position reports to the Global Commercial Director. The Digital Mine Commercial Leader, APAC is responsible for the strategy and execution of key account management, sales activities and marketing of the Digital Mine portfolio in the assigned region. This person will be responsible for the conception and implementation of the business development strategy in the region. This includes, but is not limited to, the following key activities, developing new business relationships, managing existing accounts as well as managing all sales activities in the region. In coordination with the regional businesses, role will manage the marketing of Digital Mine products and services, support trade shows and technical conferences. The role will be responsible for feeding back market and customer requirements and contributing to the development of the Digital Mine portfolio of products and services
**Where is the position located?** This is Permanent full time position at Eagle Farm Brisbane
**What will your typical day look like?**
+ Develop marketing, sales and strategic business plans and be responsible for delivering assigned annual orders intake, gross margin, and digital mine strategic objectives
+ Support the business in ensuring that the annual revenue target is achieved
+ Key account plans are developed and maintained to an agreed standard
+ Identify influential key stakeholders, develop effective relationships, and engagement plan to uncover Digital Mine business opportunities and achievement of agreed objectives the customer’s organisation, acting as a top line stakeholder in governance models for selected key accounts
+ Build, Maintain and Promote the Digital Mine capability and brand within the assigned territory and named customers; partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs
+ Supports the various Digital Mine functions are being embedding into the customer engagement including technical support, fulfillment, legal, product development to enhance the customer experience, account penetration and ensure compliance.
+ Responsible to lead a team, creating a culture of respect, prioritizing recognition, leading individual development and succession planning.
+ Understand mining industry-specific trends; maintaining a high level of competitive knowledge
+ Support the execution of the Independent Third Party strategy in the assigned region.
+ Effectively communicate value propositions through F2F, virtual presentations and written proposals
+ Responsible for overall customer satisfaction evaluation, plans, communication and follow through
+ Ensure accurate data is being captured using Salesforce in the assigned region
+ Actively involved in the budgeting process, as required, from time to time.
**What do we want to know about you?**
+ Experience of working in the mining technology or mining software industry
+ Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as STEM, Business, Commerce or equivalent
+ Demonstrated success in initiating and growing sales in identified regions and accounts
+ Superior knowledge of mining industry concepts, regulations, and operational guidelines
+ Experience of commercial and contract management
+ Proven experience influencing teams in a matrix organisation
+ Outstanding leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
+ Excellent written and oral communication; foreign languages are desirable
+ Proven organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills
**Desirable Qualifications:**
+ Background in heavy machinery fleet technology and / or industrial Software as a Service
+ Competitive drive, courage, determination, and passion
+ Change agent with strong credibility and influence in the organization
+ Ability to make effective executive-level presentations
+ Ability to lead and manage through changing business conditions
+ Executive presence, confidence, communication skills, influence skills and superior negotiation skills
**Travel:**
+ This position requires frequent travel
