LOC3347:9-10/F, Building N1, Fusion New Bund, No. 8, Lane 131, New Bund Avenue, Pudong, Shanghai, ChinaThe Digital Technology Leader for the Otis China organization will be instrumental in establishing the vision, shaping the strategy and executing the roadmap for innovative digital and enterprise solutions that will position the company to succeed and continue to be at the forefront of the world’s people moving systems industry. As part of the Global CIO leadership team, you will work with business partners, executive members, CTO team to shape the Otis China digital technology strategy aligned with the overall Otis enterprise vision. You will partner closely with functional CoEs and digital team members to ensure specific initiatives are set up for success with a solid foundational grounding of customer, colleague and technical fit.
Digital Strategy
Partner with Chief Digital Officer staff and Global CIO to structure planning sessions with executive leadership team related to enterprise digital technology strategy and operational execution for China and for strategic enterprise initiativesCollaborate with digital leadership team (DLT) to clarify and articulate department level strategies across digital and provide voice of the customer as a business relationship manager for the Otis China organizationOwn business engagement with China leadership team to implement key strategic initiatives that are prioritized for the Otis China transformationEnsure strong linkage between enterprise-wide digital initiatives and Otis China priorities including adoption and implementation of global business systems and provide guidance to DT professionals within the organizationServe as primary point of contact with business leaders seeking partnership on inclusion of digital within enterprise planning; consult, advocate and help create the narrative for digital priorities in context of business level initiativesOperations
Serve as key point of contact to the region seeking to initiate new digital initiatives in coordination with Digital Technologies and business leadersPartner with leadership to clarify project intent, scope, and requirementsIdentify areas of synergies across disparate projects ideas and initiatives as part of global DT leadership teamGovern the methodology for project intake, prioritization and concept evaluation as part of the global DT leadership teamOversee governance and adherence of cyber policies in the China regionAnalyze the costs, value and risks and advise DT leadership team in optimization areasPartner with China finance leadership to own accounting and projections across Digital Technology initiatives balanced with capacity planning for existing and burst capacity resourcingAct as advocate and change agent to communicate methodologies, ways of working, and process to customers, working teams and peersProgram leadership
Support execution of programs within the Digital technology organization, with heavy collaboration with the CTO organizationPlan, design, and facilitate internal working sessions to align cross-disciplinary teams around shared goals and workplans across multiple functional and regional teamsCybersecurity
Enforce Global DT cybersecurity policies, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and oversee the implementation of security measures to protect China organizational assets and dataFoster a culture of security awareness and manage risks associated with cyber threats in collaboration with Global Cybersecurity team.Ensure regional DT projects are designed and executed in compliance with Cybersecurity policies.Experience/Qualifications
Required
Minimum of 12 years of digital leadership roles with strong understanding of ITIL, compliance and customer focused rolesDemonstrated knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and policies either through education or experience such as development of cybersecurity policies and familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.Business, financial, and technical acumen, with focus on results and outcomes.Demonstrate exceptional communication, fostering a collaborative environment and encouraging imagination and innovation among team membersExperience in transformation roles or programs with ability to lead organizations and teams through changeTrack record of user-centered product development achieving business outcomes employing technical innovationMinimum of 7 years of proven, hands-on experience in Agile methodologiesStrong analytical, strategic and creative problem-solving skills.Strong presentation skills and experience with C-level engagementsHigh degree of influencing skills and collaborationGlobal business experience and comfort working with remote and distributed teamsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Preferred Qualifications
