Job Description:
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Forecasting regional packaging demandRegional reporting on all necessary packaging statisticsWork with Marken branches, Business Developers and Project Managers in the region, as well as counterparts to identify future packaging demand.Working with returns teams to recover assets and oversee regional central distribution servicesManage the forecasting process for your regionAssist with regional audits of branch inventoryContribute to reducing the operational costs across the region through strategic deploymentManagement of leased / rental packaging / Client dedicated inventorySupport deployment of packaging to 3rd party service providersLeased Asset Management support as neededImplementation of new technologiesTroubleshoot and oversee resolution of packaging deployment issues regarding stocking requestsWork with Marken branches, BD and PM’s in the region, as well as counterparts to identify future packaging demand.Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics or degree equivalentUnderstanding of various packaging types used for healthcare logistics shipmentsIntermediate level experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook).Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesSkilled with business intelligence platforms such as Tableau or Microsoft BIExcellent communication skills and ability to influence others.Ability to work independently and collaborate with others.Attention to detail.Marken, UPS Healthcare Precision Logistics (formerly Marken, MNX & Polar Speed), the clinical and advanced therapy subsidiary of UPS Healthcare, unites expertise across healthcare and complex secure logistics to drive the success of our clients through innovation.
