Refrigeration Technician
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Install, service, and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. Handle natural and synthetic refrigerants such as CO₂, HFCs, and ammonia safely and professionally. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues on-site efficiently. Commission new refrigeration systems, ensuring proper function and accurate documentation. Provide clients with guidance and advice on system operation and maintenance best practices. Comply with all safety protocols, environmental standards, and F-gas regulations. Participate in on-call duty rotations as required. Maintain and manage company equipment, including vans, tools, and mobile devices. Qualifications and Skills: Technical education at MBO-level or equivalent in refrigeration, mechanical, or electrical engineering. Valid F-gas certification (Category 1) mandatory. Proven work experience with commercial or industrial refrigeration systems. Knowledge of ammonia, CO₂, or propane refrigeration systems is a significant advantage. Ability to work independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license (Category B) required. Excellent communication and client support skills. Commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations.
