Job Details:

Refrigeration Maintenance

D Shift

 Must be willing to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system.

Must be willing to use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc.

Must be willing to lift to 70 lbs. occasionally and be able to work on your feet, moving throughout the facility for a period of 12 hours.  

Must be willing to work in temperatures ranging from about -10F to about 110F occasionally.

Must be willing to complete all required training for the job.

Other Duties: Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electric pallet moving equipment. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on Industrial Refrigeration systems. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building and grounds. Perform preventative maintenance on batteries, battery chargers, battery racks, and carts as needed. Train in Hazmat and safety procedures and be respirator certified. Other duties as assigned.

This job requires becoming HAZMAT certified and maintaining this qualification.  This entails completing and passing a HAZMAT physical, pulmonary function test (lung capacity) and OSHA Respirator Medical Evaluation Questionnaire.

Requirements:

Experience: 3 months of industrial maintenance, ammonia refrigeration maintenance or trade school required.

Education: We will also consider completion of industrial maintenance or ammonia refrigeration maintenance certification through a technical school in lieu of experience.

Proficiency in reading and writing.

ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels
