On our facilities team, your job will be to create a comfortable and safe environment - just like our patients have come to expect. You'll gain experience working on a wide range of projects and HVAC systems throughout our facilities, train with the newest technology and receive guidance from fellow caregivers and management. **A caregiver in this position works days, 7:00am-3:30pm with rotational weekends and holiday requirements.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Regularly inspect, diagnose, repair and perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration and HVAC systems. + Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration/air conditioning systems and other equipment, such as refrigerators, freezers, walk-in coolers, medical and process chillers, cooling equipment, cryogenic freezers and rooftop heating/cooling units. + Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic controls, solid state microprocessors and system alarms. + Repair refrigerant leaks and evacuate and adjust refrigerant charges. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + High school diploma or GED + State of Ohio EPA approved certificate for either Type I and Type II or Universal Refrigerant Systems Service + Three years of experience as a commercial/residential air conditioning refrigeration technician. Military experience as a Machinists Mate, Utilities man, Utilities Equipment Repairer or a similar role will be considered + Formal vocational classroom study in refrigeration, air conditioning and/or air handling may substitute up to 1 year of experience + Can read electric schematic diagrams Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Completion of a formal HVAC/Refrigeration training program + Work experience in a hospital setting Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
