They must ensure that accurate medical record information is given regarding the patient and that the pertinent payer information is obtained andcorrect. This position requires the ability to multitask, adequate medical terminology, ability to read and understand insurance cards, ability to read and understand the patients' medical record, excellent verbal and written communication skills. Customer service skills are a MUST, as everyone we encounter is our customer.
