The Referral Coordinator will collaborate with physicians, navigators, and schedulers within all four cancer centers to prioritize and schedule patients in a timely manner. The Referral Coordinator will be responsible for obtaining correct and comprehensive records required to register the patient and prepare for first office visit. This requires developing and maintaining positive relationships with physician offices, patients, and facilities while actively demonstrating outstanding customer service. **The value you'll bring to the team:** + Answers the telephone in a professional and polite manner, communicating information to appropriate personnel. + Notifies patients, physicians, and support staff of changes impacting the schedule. + Updates information in the EMR as necessary. + Interacts professionally with physicians, patients/families, and healthcare staff. + Maintains a good working relationship within the clinic and with hospital departments.
