UPMC Home Health is hiring a full-time Referral Coordinator for our team working Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM-4:30 PM. This position will be fully remote following a REQUIRED in-person orientation period in Seven Fields, PA. This position does not currently have weekend shifts but may change in the future.

Responsibilities:

Provides the primary referral and inquiry customer service presence for the Agency’s services. Manages all incoming calls to the Intake department and based on the type of call, problem solve, transfer, or coordinate referral appropriately and efficiently Initiates required referral documentation in the EMR from all referral sources. Accurately records and data enters insurance/authorization information per EMR requirements; Demonstrates a working knowledge of insurances. Collaborates effectively with clinical team members and referral sources to ensure accurate referral documentation has been received.
