Your Role:
Join our dynamic team at MilliporeSigma as we seek a motivated and results-driven individual to fill the role of Remote Product Specialist for our Reference Materials division. This remote position offers the opportunity to manage, develop, and expand our business within designated accounts. We're looking for a proactive professional who thrives in a field-based environment and is eager to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Manage, develop, and grow the MilliporeSigma Reference Materials business within assigned territory and up to 30% travelProactively seek out new business opportunities within the territory to develop and maintain a short and long-term opportunity pipelineCollaborate closely with MilliporeSigma Account Managers, Product Management, R&D and Marketing to achieve financial targetsAchieve sales goals exceeding $10 million for Reference Material products within the assigned territoryDevelop and maintain strong customer relationships by proactively understanding their needs and delivering professional, solutions-oriented support.Manage the end-to-end sales process for assigned productsPrioritize selling activity by mapping key contacts and decision-makersStay updated on technical product knowledge and scientific advancements
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree Chemistry, or other Life Science discipline and 1+ years of life science sales experience
Preferred Qualifications:
PhD in ChemistryExcellent understanding of analytical testing techniques, including chromatography and/or mass spectrometryExcellent proficiency in sales techniques, business acumen, and delivering persuasive presentationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent commitment to ethical business practicesExcellent goal orientation and self-motivationExcellent organizational and time management skills
Pay Range for this position -$84,000- $123,000/yearly
Our ranges are derived from several sources, and largely reliant on relevant industry market data. Should we decide to make an offer, we will consider several factors, including but not limited to your location, skills, experience, career level, and other job-related factors.
